This method only takes bout 1 to 2 hours, or even as little as 15 depending on how thick or thin your meat is. The rule is to leave the salt on the steak 1-hour per inch thickness of the meat.

Ingredients For Tenderizing A Steak:

  • A steak (any cut is fine)
  • Salt (Kosher salt is best)

Then, you will wash all the salt off of your meat after it has sat on the meat for the appropriate length of time, then cook as you normally would.
