I was so glad to run across this tutorial because it solves a problem I’ve been having that is so frustrating. I wouldn’t have ever thought of doing this or that there was even a solution out there for this, but I’m happy I discovered that there is!  I know I can’t be the only one with this problem.

Many nights when I go to sleep, I’ll wake up in the middle of the night with my pillow case either off of my pillow or half way off. I’ve actually thought about basting them shut when I change my sheets, but that would be too big of a hassle.

What this clever lady, Laura Coia, shows us how to make a pillow case with an extra flap to prevent pillows from showing inside your pillow case. They just look nicer that way. Although, I made these and added a button to the inside flap to keep my pillows from coming out!

I know that some of you aren’t as excited about this as I am and if not, then just bear with me. Though I’d be surprise if everyone hasn’t experienced this problem with pillow cases before.

You can mix and match your favorite prints to make a colorful range of bed linen. It is a nice way to jazz up your bedroom, and they would make a lovely gift – for friends and family.
