  • 3 salmon fillets
  • 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons of old bay
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 lemon juice (optional)

How to Make Honey Butter Old Bay Salmon

Step 1:

Slice the salmon fillets. Remove the thin parts as they are going to cook easily.

Step 2:

In a bowl, add seasoned salt, onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, paprika, and ground black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 3:

Drizzle olive oil over your salmon. Flip them over and do the same to the other side. Generously season fillets on all sides. Rub the seasonings onto the skin so they stick well.

Step 4:

Place a cast iron over heat and add the butter. Once a bit melted, add some olive oil. Add the seasoned salmon fillet and cook for about 7 to 12 minutes per side. Flip it over and allow the other side to cook. Transfer to a plate. Do not remove the sauce from the pan.
