I just love a good cheesecake, so when I found this peppermint cheesecake recipe by Delish, on YouTube, I knew I had to make one of these for my Christmas buffet. I have been making a few of these uniquely flavored cheesecakes lately, and they are really easy to quickly put together. I used to think of a cheesecake as being one of the most difficult foods to make, but when there is very little baking involved, the cheesecake becomes a very simple pie type of recipe.  This recipe is super simple to follow, and has some really simple ingredients too!

Ingredients For The Peppermint Cheesecake Recipe:

• 3 (8-ounce) blocks of cream cheese (softened)
• 1 cup of sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1/4 cup of sour cream
• 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of flour
• 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
• 1/4 teaspoon of salt
• 1/2 cup of chopped chocolate
• 1/2 cup of white chocolate
• 1/2 cup candy canes

For The Crust:

• 24 peppermint Oreos
• 5 tablespoons of melted butter

For The Ganache:

• 3/4 cup heavy cream
• 1 and 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
