This is Paula Deen‘s Frozen banana split! Filled with gooey chocolate fudge, creamy ice cream, and fresh bananas, then topped with toffee bits – this will surely satisfy your sweet cravings. Have no worries, this is quick and easy to prepare, as this is made from ice cream sandwiches. It is the perfect cold snack to eat on a hot sunny afternoon near the beach or pool! Ingredients:

  • 24 (3.5 ounces) unwrapped ice cream sandwiches
  • 6 medium peeled and thinly sliced bananas
  • 1 jar (12 oz) hot fudge sauce
  • 1 jar (10 oz) drained and finely chopped maraschino cherries
  • 1 package (8 oz) of divided milk chocolate-covered toffee bits
  • 1 jar (12 oz) butterscotch ice cream topping
  • 1 container (8 oz) of thawed frozen non-dairy whipped topping

Instructions:

Step 1:

Get a 13 by 9-inch baking pan and place some heavy-duty aluminum foil.

Step 2:

Put half of the ice cream sandwiches evenly on the bottom of the pan, completely covering it. Cut the sandwiches to fit, if necessary. Top evenly with banana slices.

Step 3:

Pour hot fudge sauce over the bananas. Then top with cherries and half of the toffee bits. Next, pour the butterscotch evenly on top.

Step 4:

Place the remaining ice cream sandwiches and spread whipped topping over the sandwiches. Then sprinkle with toffee bits.

Step 5:

Cover and put in the freezer for at least 4 hours. Then remove from pan, using foil handles. Cut them into squares and serve. Enjoy this delicious treat with friends and family under the sun!
