I was so surprised at how simple this was to sew, making it a great DIY project for beginners. I love the colors she used for this. Purple is one of my favorite colors and pansies are one of my favorite flowers, therefore it was perfect!

I made one of these for a very dear friend who was so excited about buying her first home.  After all, what new home doesn’t need a quilt in it?

The thing I love most about quilts is all the color and charm they add to a home. They also add that special touch of coziness and nostalgia that all homes scream for. A beautiful colorful quilt always does the trick!

I come from a long line of quilters, so I grew up with quilts and love the way they feel to sleep under. There’s nothing better than a quilt to snuggle down with!

This is what you can get with 12 Fat Quarters… a quick and easy Quilt. For each 2 fat quarters, you will get 3 quilt blocks. So how big or small the quilt will turn out is all up to you. She used a bundle of 12 fat quarters for her pansy quilt. How many are you going to use?

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
