Do you want to start eating healthy but can’t live without chips? If you do, I have a great idea for you! You don’t have to stop eating chips as there are healthy alternatives you can munch on instead of store-bought ones. A bag of chips that are sold in groceries contains a large amount of carbs, sodium, and preservatives and is often deep-fried in vegetable oil. You definitely want to avoid that if you want to be healthy.

So, why not make your own chips at home? It is actually easy to do. Here’s an oven baked zucchini chips recipe by Skinny Ms. for you. These homemade chips are way better than the processed ones, as they are baked, not fried, and you can control the amount of salt and seasonings they contain. You can even customize the flavor based on your preference. If you want them to be spicy, add smoked paprika or your preferred spicy seasoning.

Start by cutting a large zucchini into 1/8″ or 1/4″ slices. You can also use a mandoline to make the cutting easier.
In a bowl, combine 1/3 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.
Add 3 tablespoons of milk in a bowl.
Dip the zucchini slices into the milk, then coat with the breading mixture. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are just in one layer and add spaces in between each piece.
Place inside the oven and bake for 15 minutes on each side at 475F.
Sprinkle cheese on top and serve. Enjoy!
