This oven baked BBQ chicken kabobs by Rachel cooks with love ❤ is absolutely the best! I have tried a ton of chicken kabobs before but nothing can top this one. It is moist and packed with delicious flavors. Look at how appetizing it is. The chicken is already good on its own but even better with the homemade glaze. Make sure not to skip it!

The secret to making the best chicken kabobs is the seasonings. You have to glaze them two times while baking to make them moist and flavorful. You can use metal or wooden skewers for this recipe. If you choose to use the wooden ones, make sure to soak them in water for 30 minutes before using. This will keep them from burning in the oven or grill.
If you want the smoky flavor, cook the chicken kabobs on the grill. Serve with potato salad, corn salad, pasta salad, or rice for a complete dinner meal.

For the glaze:
Soak the skewers in water for 30 minutes.
Add all the seasonings to the bowl. Mix until well combined.
Add the chicken and some seasonings into the bowl. Mix, then drizzle some olive oil. Mix until well incorporated. Add seasonings to the bacon.
Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top or a metal frame.
Insert the chicken, bacon, peppers, onion into the skewers. Arrange them however you like. Place them on top of the wire rack or metal frame. Drizzle oil on both sides, then sprinkle more seasonings.
Place in a 350F preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Make the glaze by combining all ingredients in a bowl.
At the 15 minute mark, remove the chicken kabobs from the oven and spread the glaze. Place back in the oven. Repeat for the last 3 minutes.
Remove them from the oven and let them sit for 3 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
