  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 (14 oz) cans chicken broth
  • 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (14 oz) can red kidney beans
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 10 oz uncooked elbow pasta noodles
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded


Step 1

Add the ground beef and diced yellow onion in a skillet and cook until the meat turns brown. Next, add the minced garlic, stir until fragrant, pour the chicken broth, and add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, seasoned salt, and ground black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 2

Now, add the elbow macaroni, stir, and boil cook for 12 to 15 minutes until pasta is al dente. When the pasta has absorbed the liquid, add 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese and mix well. Cook for another five minutes. Once done, remove from the heat and serve immediately. Enjoy!
