This super delicious and easy recipe by Cooking With Claudia on YouTube is a yummy skillet steak and shrimp that you can share with your family or friends! Immediately after watching the video, I knew I had to try it. I was glad that it turned out so delicious, even my family loved it.
Step 1
Lay your steak, then brush them with some olive oil on both sides. Season them on each side with a generous amount of salt and pepper, then once well seasoned, set them aside. Next, season the jumbo shrimps with salt and pepper, toss them together until well-seasoned, then set them aside. In a mixing bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, and a handful of freshly chopped parsley until well combined. Heat a cast-iron skillet pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then add some vegetable oil, and allow it to heat up until you some smoke coming out of the pan. Place the steak in the hot skillet pan and let it cook for about 3 to 4 minutes. Turn them over and cook the other side for about 3 to 4 minutes as well. If you’re using a cast-iron pan, reduce the heat slightly because it gets too hot that it can burn the steak.

Step 2
Make sure to cook all sides of the steak, then after cooking for 6 to 8 minutes, place big spoonfuls of the garlic butter mixture on top of them and let the butter melt into the steak, and baste the steak for one minute. This will be medium-rare to medium so if you want your steak a little well done, cook them for 2 more minutes. Once done cooking, remove the steak from the pan, and set them aside, remove all of the garlic and burnt pieces as well. Add the shrimp to the same pan and arrange them in a single layer, cook the shrimp on medium-high for 1 minute on each side or until nice and golden. Add in the leftover garlic butter mixture that has been melted in the microwave. Mix and cook them for 1 more minute, once done cooking toss them to the side, add the steak back in and cover the with the sauce and squeeze over a lemon.
