Pineapple is one of my favorite fruits, and I always buy a few whenever I go shopping. Traditionally, I cut it into rings and then halved the pieces before serving them to my family. It was always what I did until I came across this hack from Andrea Jean Cleaning on Youtube. Who would have thought you could actually dig out those little pineapple eyes without a knife; and eat those pieces straight away? It was so mindblowing I couldn’t believe it at first, so I gave it a try and boy, was I eating pineapple wrong all my life. Now, I can enjoy eating pineapple straight out of my grocery bag after thoroughly rinsing it. I also shared this hack with my family and friends, and they couldn’t thank me enough. Like – this is one of those cool hacks on the internet that you will probably do for the rest of your life. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions. Directions:

Step 1

First, grab the fruit crown, then twist and pull it out. Next, put the bottom side down, and tap and turn the pineapple, about ten times, to loosen everything inside. After this, tip it on its side, and roll it with pressure a few times. (The more pressure you put rolling the fruit, the better.)

Step 2

Now, flip it back up and push in the bottom part where it’s more ripe (juice will squirt out, but it’s okay, just continue pushing to make the pineapple eyes loosen up.) After this, you can start digging out the eyes of the pineapple.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
