This is such an extraordinary way to decorate your walls and it’s really cheap too! It’s amazing what people can come up with when they put their thinking caps on! They lead the way for the rest of us, and I sure am glad.

What she does is nothing short of brilliant! If you’re low on funds for your decorating a new space, this is a great solution. She gathers a leaf, a feather and a branch from a tree and spray paints them gold and silver, puts them on a nice colored background and frames it! How easy is that?!

When I first saw these I thought it was gold leafed or bronze and I was really surprised when I saw that she used spray paint! It really makes these items look expensive…can we say the Midas Touch?

There are so many things you can use that would look great spray painted and framed like she does in her tutorial.

When I did this I used one red oak, one white oak and one maple leaf from my yard and painted them with some gold craft paint I had. They look so fabulous framed up and on my wall!

Watch how Mode does this in her step by step tutorial and get busy with your spray paint!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
