In a container, add 1/4 cup of witch hazel and 1/2 cup of aloe vera juice. The aloe vera juice will act as the base.
First, add ten drops of lavender essential oil. This contains flea-resistant and anti-inflammatory properties. Next, add ten drops of lemon essential oil. This is the basis for many of the flea repellent sprays. Lemon and lavender are far less toxic if they are consumed orally. Lastly, add 2o drops of cedarwood essential oil. According to research, they found out that the oil coming from some of the cedarwood is fairly effective in repelling fleas and ticks. Mix until well combined.
This flea spray has 40 drops of essential oils diluted with 120 ml of fluid which is generally considered safe, especially for dogs.
Transfer the solution to a spray bottle. Shake it well and lightly mist it into your dog. Just be careful to avoid her face. Spread it all over the body of your dog and lather it up.
