The only difficult part of this project is the star points, but Cut and Create explained the instructions clearly, so I am sure you won’t have trouble finishing this block. You will start with two squares, one background and one printed, and make triangles out of them. Then, you will cut the same size of the triangle from a different fabric and sew them together to make the block. It is easy, I promise. Watch the video below for full instructions.

Fabric B
Fabric C
Place the two squares right sides together. Cut in half diagonally in both directions to make 4 pairs of triangles.
Sew the pairs together with a quarter inch seam allowance. Make sure that the white is always on the left. Once done, set the seams, and press it open toward the printed side.
Get the 5 1/2″ squares and stack them together. Cut in half diagonally. Place each one on top of the half-triangles, right sides together. Sew them on the edge with a 1/4″ seam allowance. Set the seams and press toward the dark side. Trim each one into a 5″ square.
Get the 4 pieces of 5″ background squares and 5″ printed square. Place the printed square in the middle and the background squares on the corners. Lay the blocks on the spaces, just like in the photo below.
Sew them in rows first. Once done, sew the rows together to make the block. Press it flat.
