Frosting:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9 x 5 loaf pan (or line it with parchment paper). Set it aside. Next, add 1/4 cup melted salted butter in a mixing bowl along with 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Mix together until sugar is fully dissolved, then stir in one egg. After this, add 1/3 cup all-purpose flour and 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. Mix them together with the butter mixture until fully incorporated. Once done, transfer it to the prepared loaf pan, pop it into the preheated oven, and bake for 20 minutes.
After baking, add 1/2 cup mini marshmallows over the brownie while it’s still warm. Pop it back into the oven (turned off) and let it sit there for a minute or two. After this, set it aside and make the frosting. Add 2 tbsp salted butter, 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 1/2 tbsp half-and-half milk, and 1 cup powdered sugar in a small saucepan. Put it over the stovetop and stir until the butter melts and everything is incorporated. After this, drizzle it over the marshmallows while it’s still warm. Let it chill in the fridge before serving.
