I have tons of shirts at home that I no longer use. But the problem is I don’t want to throw them out as they hold sentimental value. Some are given by loved ones while others are souvenirs from different countries that I already visited. I decided to repurpose them instead of just storing them in my closet. Also, I want to be able to see them regularly and remind myself of the good memories. Good thing I saw this video of making a wool quilt from old t-shirts by Master Hands and was instantly delighted as this is the perfect project to do with old clothes. It was so easy and quick to make – mine turned out so lovely. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions.

- 15.75 in by 11.8 in cardboard (pattern A)

Instructions:
Step 1:
Lay out one t-shirt on a flat surface. Trace pattern A on the front of the shirt, then pattern B on the center of the rectangle. Cut it on the outer border and secure the two with pins. Do the same for the other t-shirts.
Step 2:
Sew each on the inner border but make sure to leave an opening on one of the shorter sides.
Step 3:
Take the ruler and draw a diagonal line from one corner to another on both sides of the rectangular cloth. Do it on all of the shirts.
Step 4:
Fill each cloth with filling. Make sure to distribute it properly.
Step 5:
Sew on the diagonal lines to keep the filling in place.
Step 6:
Place 5 pieces in one single line side by side. Secure the sides with pins and sew them together. Do the same for the remaining pieces.
Step 7:
Sew all of the rows together to make a big quilt.
Step 8:
Cut all of the sides to make fringes.
