Instructions
Step 1:
Make the nacho cheese sauce. In a pan over low heat, add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, 1/4 teaspoon of paprika, and 1/8 teaspoon of onion powder. Mix until well combined for just a few seconds, you don’t want to burn it.
Step 2:
Immediately add the Velveeta cheese, sour cream, milk, and jalapeno brine. Mix to combine. Let it slowly melt while continuously stirring. Set aside.
Step 3:
Make the taco meat. In a clean pan over heat, add the lean ground beef and break it up. Cook until browned. Next, add taco seasoning and water. Let it simmer and cook for 10 minutes or so.
Step 4:
Add the chili to a small pot over heat and add 1-quarter cup of water to thin it out a little bit.
Step 5:
Take the bag of frito. You can either transfer it to a plate or use the plastic as a bowl. Add the chili and cheese sauce. Mix and it’s ready to be served. Next, with the bag of Doritos, add the taco meat, salsa, shredded lettuce, and chives, followed by the cheese sauce, chili, and sour cream.
