Easy Italian Yogurt Cake Ingredients

  • 1 – 6 oz container of plain vanilla yogurt
  • 2 containers of sugar
  • 1 container of vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 3 containers of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • splash of vanilla

Note: use the container of the yogurt for measurement

How to Make Italian Yogurt Cake

Step 1:

Preheat your oven to 350F.

Step 2:

In a large mixing bowl, add 6 oz of plain vanilla yogurt, sugar, vegetable oil, zest of 1 lemon, 3 eggs, and a splash of vanilla. Whisk everything to combine.

Step 3:

Add all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps.

Step 4:

Grease a 9″ nonstick bundt pan with nonstick spray, then pour the cake batter.

Note: you can also use a regular 9″ x 5″ pan, but it may take longer to bake.

Step 5:

Place in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes at 350F.

Step 6:

Once done baking, remove the bundt pan from the oven and place on a wire rack. Let it cool for a few minutes before removing the cake and placing it on the wire rack to cool completely.

Step 7:

Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and slice. Serve and enjoy!
