Materials To Wash And Whiten Yellow Pillows:

  • Hottest water you can find
  • A cup of dishwashing detergent
  • A cup of regular laundry detergent
  • A cup of bleach
  • 1/2 cup of Borax laundry booster

In this excellent pillow cleaning video tutorial by One Good Thing By Jillee, on YouTube, you will learn how to clean your yellowed pillows in a few easy steps. You begin by filling the washing machine 1/3 of the way full with the absolute hottest water possible. You can even use a boiled kettle to help it along if you need to. Then, add your detergent ingredients and agitate for a few minutes, then you will submerge the pillows and agitate a little more.

Then you will let it soak and finish with a normal cycle.
