Step 1:
Get a small piece of aluminum foil and crumple it to form it into a ball. It should be big enough to fill the gap in the device’s battery slot when using AAA batteries.
Step 2:
Take the old double-A battery out and put the foil on the spring side just like in the photo below.
Step 3:
Put in your triple-A battery. The clock or whatever device you are using should work as usual.
