Chances are your kitchen sink is currently clogged, which is why you’re here. Worry no more, as you’re definitely in the right place. This genius trick from Smart Fox on Youtube only uses a straw to unclog sinks. It’s super efficient, guaranteed to work, and also inexpensive. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step-by-step instructions.

Materials:

  • straw
  • scissors

Directions:

Step 1

Take a scissor and cut the straw lengthwise (just a few centimeters.) Next, make a small cut to the right and left of your cut with a distance of 1 cm. This will end up like small prongs at the end which now point upwards. If the prongs don’t come out nicely when you cut them, go behind them again with the scissor to make sure they stick out a bit. To do this, simply clamp the scissors there, bend them outward once, and the little prongs will eventually stick out.

Step 2

Now, take your prepared straw to the drain where you intend to use it. Go in carefully the drain, then turn it a little bit back and forth, making sure you’re getting everywhere. Carefully pull it with all the dirt now stuck to the straw.
