1 – A little tickle or sensation

You will feel a slight sensation in the back of your throat because of oleocanthal. It is a super healthy anti-inflammatory compound.

2 – Taste

Real extra virgin olive oil is fruity, peppery, pungent, and bitter with a slightly grassy taste. Fake olive oils do not have much flavor.

3 – Container

Buy olive oils that are in glass containers not plastic.

4 – Cost

Most real extra virgin olive oils cost more than $10 or more.

5 – Story

Look for the website in the container and do some research. Check what their story is. Learn about the type of olive oil they used and the country of origin.
