Hack #1: Preparing the Water Mixture

Make sure that the stand of your tree is able to hold water and let the temperature determine how often you’ll need to water the tree. In a large measuring cup, add some warm water, then add 1 tablespoon of sugar and 2 tablespoons of salt, and stir them thoroughly until dissolved. Use this mixture to water your tree as often as needed and make sure to check it daily.

Hack #2: Preparing to Mount the Tree

For newly purchased trees, before mounting it to the base or stand, make sure to do this trick first. Mark the bottom of the tree’s trunk with three crosses and make sure to space them evenly, then drill holes on those marks about 4cm or 1½ inches deep. Now, you can mount the tree and pour in the water mixture, the holes will help it absorb the moisture even more.
