  • Chak or pencil
  • Needle and thread

Step 1

Mark the hem of the pants to the length that you want it, then prepare the needle and thread, and insert the needle at the bottom of the leg just above the folded hem.

Step 2 

Push the needle through along the chalk line, then repeat the same stitch about half a centimeter further along the same line, and continue stitching all around the pants.

Step 3

Pull one end of the thread and the pants should gather on its own, then lock it securely, and trim off the excess tail. Smoothen the hem nicely and you’re done.
