I love making purses and bags, so when I saw this weekender bag video tutorial by Sewing Times, on YouTube, I literally jumped at the chance of making it. The directions for this very simple bag calls for fabric, but I’m thinking a very soft leather would be nice. This lovely and functional bag comes with a free pattern download and is a sinch to make. I recently got a vintage tapestry and I was thinking this bag pattern could make a great boho looking bag if I used the tapestry, instead of fabric. All and all, this bag is a real winner and I just love it!

Materials For The Weekender Bag:

• Free Pattern Download
• The fabric of your choice
• interfacing
• Thread
• A sewing machine
• A pair of scissors
• An ironing board
• An iron

Directions:

In this weekender bag video tutorial by Sewing Times, on YouTube, you will learn how to make this awesome bag in a few easy steps. You will cut all your pieces and basically sew a tube-shaped cylinder. 

Then, you will sew in your lining, and finish all of your detailing. 

This bag is so fabulous and fashion-forward, I just love it!
