Lay the fleece fabric on top of parchment paper with its wrong side facing up, then lightly spray with basting adhesive, and lay the flannel with its right side facing up to fuse their wrong sides, make sure that the fleece is centered. Repeat this on the remaining flannel and fleece, then lay these 2 pieces on top of each other with their right sides facing, and sew them together all around with a ½-inch seam allowance leaving about 4 to 5 inches open on one side.

Step 2

Once done sewing, trim the corners diagonally making sure not to cut the stitches, then turn the piece right side out through the gap, and poke the corners nicely. Give it a nice press, then tuck the seams on the gap inside, and topstitch the whole piece with a ¼-inch seam allowance all the way around closing the gap as well in the process. Pin one part of the velcro on the left side 1½ inch away from the edge, then topstitch, flip over, and sew the other part of the velcro on the left side as well. Make sure to stitch the velcro carefully, then wrap it around your seatbelt or bag handle.
