One of the things I hate to do the most is separate stuck buckets, it takes a lot of effort from me but to no avail, and it gets so frustrating that I always end up giving up. Fortunately, while randomly browsing the internet looking for a good craft project to try, I stumbled upon this video tutorial by Zen Garden Oasis on YouTube.

Tip #1: Use Hot Water

Slowly pour hot water over the base of the bucket where you know that there’s an air gap because that’s where the vacuum is taking place. Eventually, the air inside the bucket will heat up and cause it to release, once that happens, give it a slight pull to if it will come just right out.

Tip #2: Use Dawn Dish Soap

Pour some Dawn dish soap right where the buckets are meeting and are stuck, then make sure that the soap gets into the bucket, and it will cause some lubrication to take place. Next, get a water hose and spray it on the bucket to help the soap go down and inside. Try to give the bucket a pull and repeat the steps as needed.

Tip #3: Use Compressed Air

Find where they’re put together, then angle your air compressor, and blast it with a good dose of compressed air. You will see the buckets immediately loosen up and you won’t even need to pull. You can also use canned compressed air if you want.

Tip #4: Use Quarter Coins

Take two quarter coins, then position them on either side of the buckets right where they meet, and push the coins down until the bucket pops up. It’s that easy!
