If you have lots of leftover chips and you want to save them for later but don’t want them to have a bad texture, then make sure to seal them properly so that not much air can penetrate the bag. One tool that’s very effective and handy to use is a clip, but if you don’t have one, then you can just use the bag itself. You might think that this is difficult or not secure enough, but you have to see it to believe it.

Sealing the bag on itself isn’t as complicated as it may sound, it is actually so easy and convenient that you wouldn’t even want to consider using a clip to seal the bag even if you have one. Step 1
Hold the chip bag right up to make sure all of the leftover chips are at the bottom.
Step 2
Push all of the air out and flatten the bag, then fold the edges over about half an inch.
Step 3
Keep folding the edges until it almost reaches the chips, then fold both ends toward the center.
Step 4
Hold the folded edge and fold it over backward tucking the edges nicely.
