There are a couple of items that we always throw in the trash immediately after using or emptying them, and that shouldn’t be the case because sometimes a few of those items can still be reused or repurposed.

These items are common in any household and you will surely be surprised by how and where you can use them with. Find out in this video tutorial by Smart Fox on YouTube to see for yourself, and try a trick or two at home!
#1: Fruit Net
Collect the net where your fruit or other produce was stored, then remove any plastic or sticker on the net. Grab one piece of net, then crumple it into a ball, then wrap the next net around it, keep doing the same until you’ve used up all the nets, and tie them securely. This would make a great substitute for a sponge and you can use it to wash your dishes several times until you completely dispose of it.
#2: Wet Wipes Plastic Lid/Cap
After using all of the wet wipes, before throwing out the packet make sure to remove the plastic lid or cap, and save it. You can stick this lid or cap to the front of a chip packet using hot glue, then carefully cut out the opening, eat your chips as usual, and close the lid to save the leftovers.
#3: Toilet Paper Rolls
If you have lots of tangled cords and cables scattered somewhere in a corner, grab toilet paper, then fold the cables up, and put them inside the roll. This will keep them in place so they don’t fly around and get tangled with all the different cables. You can also put them in a shoe box and sort them out more neatly, this makes it easier to find which cable you need without having to pull them apart.
#4: Chocolate Spread Jar
If you’ve eaten all the content of your chocolate spread jar, then throw it out just yet because you can still make use of the leftovers stuck on its sides and bottom. Pour some milk into a cup, then heat it in the microwave, and pour the hot cream into the jar. Put the lid on the jar, then give it a good shake, and enjoy a nice, tasty, and fresh cocoa drink.
