Materials:

  • clearcoat aerosol
  • silver wheel aerosol
  • primer aerosol
  • sandpaper assortment
  • masking tape
  • tack cloth
  • body filler

Directions:

Step 1

To start, prepare the area by sanding it with sandpaper. Clean it down, then put some fillers into the deeper scratches. After this, wait for 30 minutes, sand it down again, then scuff everything. Next, clean the whole area again, then start masking the wheel down for primer.

Step 2

Now, start priming with a light coat, then build up to a heavier coat. Wait for ten minutes to dry, then spray the second coat. After this, wait for 30 minutes for everything to set. At this point, if your wheel looks perfect, you can leave it as it is or give it a light sanding. Finally, spray a silver coat on top. Let it dry, then give it a clear coat to seal everything.
