Mildew smell is not only unpleasant, but it is also very unhealthy. Old mildewed towels are pretty undesirable, any way you slice it, but there is a way you can bring your towels back to their natural luster that only requires a few household products and a washing machine. Then, you will add the vinegar and baking soda straight into your washing machine as you begin the hottest and most intense cycle.

This method works really well for smells of any kind, including dog urine, and rotten food smell that happens sometimes in dish towels.
