For someone who loves making crafts or DIY projects at home, a glue gun is a must. It is one of the most important items you need, especially when working with wood, plastics, or metals. It helps hold the pieces together and make your art piece come to life. In some instances, hot glue is not enough to keep the pieces in place, so I also use E6000. The hot glue will keep them together while the E6000 is drying. You should definitely try that trick.

I love using hot glue since it’s cheap, dries quickly, and secures the items in place while giving a flexible bond.  Super glues are strong and sometimes not great for craft projects. The only problem with hot glue is that sometimes, it is hard to remove. I usually deconstruct old DIY projects to reuse the items, but pulling them one by one takes some effort. I always had a hard time taking the pieces. A friend shared with me a trick just a few days ago on how to remove hot glue in seconds, and thought I should share it with you. I searched online and found this DIY YouTube tutorial by Hackables that illustrates how to do it properly. If you want to remove hot glue from objects, try this method.
