One of the most annoying things in the kitchen is having plastic containers with greasy film and odors. Instead of storing your containers after use, some of them may end up in the trash because it’s hard to remove grease from them. If you don’t like throwing out a plastic container after use, remove the greasy films from them by using baking soda. That’s right, one of the miracles of baking soda is removing stubborn grease from your plastic containers. Materials:

  • sponge
  • baking soda
  • hot water

Directions:

Step 1

To start, dampen your sponge and put some baking soda on there. After this, rub that sponge on the inside of the container. This method will take the grease right off as well as the odor.

Step 2

If you feel like it’s not enough, you can try this other method. Take 4 tbsp of baking soda and add it to a 1-quart of hot water. Soak your container on this to remove the grease.
