There are so many reasons why people love eating fish. It is a good source of protein, vitamins, and omega-3 fatty acids. There are so many recipes you can make with fish. You can grill, bake, fry, steam, poach, cure, or even eat them raw. The options are endless! Some of my favorite recipes are Crispy Catfish, Easy Oven Baked Fish Recipe, and Lemon Pepper Baked Fish Recipe. They all taste amazing! I also love eating sushi, but I prefer to buy it from my favorite Japanese restaurants, as they use high-quality and fresh fish.

Some people stay away from fish since they find them too fishy. They can easily smell or taste it right away, like my brother. He doesn’t like eating fish for this reason and would always prefer eating meat or vegetables. That’s when I wondered if there was anything you could do to remove fishy smells from fresh seafood. I searched online and learned that there is actually an easy way to do it. America’s Test Kitchen has shared this awesome kitchen tip that works like magic. According to them, when your fish or shellfish smells fishy, it doesn’t mean it has gone bad or is no longer usable. As long as it is still firm and the skin is shiny (not slimy), it is still okay to eat but can be unappetizing.
