Products you need

• white vinegar
• baking soda

We all know that baking soda cleanses and deodorizes naturally, that’s why it’s one of the best alternatives to detergent. It can remove stubborn smells and stains from your clothes. White vinegar, on the other hand, degreases, disinfects, eliminates odor and maintains softness. It doesn’t have any artificial coloring or aroma like other kinds of vinegar, so it’s great for your clothes.

Instructions

Step 1:

Put your towels in your washing machine and wash with hot water and 1 cup of white vinegar.

Step 2:

After washing, leave them in the machine, and fill it up again with hot water. This time, add half a cup of baking soda. Wash them for another cycle.

Step 3:

Remove them from the washing machine and hang your towels out to dry.

Note: If your machine doesn’t have a hot water option, do it manually by boiling water on a pot over your stove or in a kettle. Let your towels soak in hot water with the vinegar and baking soda for about 30 minutes. After 30 minutes have passed, scrub the towels, and let them soak again for 30 minutes more.
