I found this excellent stainless steel cleaning video tutorial by Andrea Jean Cleaning, on YouTube, and the results they got were amazing. There are several methods of cleaning featured in this video, even a commercial-grade product that was supposed to remove carbon. The verdict, in the end, is that the onion powder and hydrogen peroxide soak, then scrubbing with a Brillo pad works really well and is very good for semi-light stains and maintenance. For tough baked-on stains, you want to use Easy-Off Oven Cleaner.

Materials For Cleaning Stained Bakeware:

  • Onion powder
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • A Brillo Pad
  • Easy-Off Oven Cleaner
