Step 1

Cut off the straps of the slippers, then trace the sole onto a piece of lining fabric, and cut them out. Place a piece of paper over your foot, then roughly trace a curve around your toes reaching up the middle of your foot, and cut out the paper. Trace this template onto a towel, then cut the shape out, and do this step for the sole as well. Lay the sole lining piece on top of the towel piece, then stitch them around, and set aside.

Step 2

Make sure there are two towel pieces for the toe cover of the slippers, then line them up with their right sides facing, and stitch them on their straight edges. Unfold the piece, then insert a batting piece in the middle, and fold it over to the right side. Stitch around the curve, then place it on top of the sole lining up the edges, and stitch them in place.

Step 3

Get the other sole lining piece, then stitch a towel strip around the edges, and place the front piece of the slippers on top with their right sides facing. Stitch all the way around leaving a gap on the heel part, and turn it right side out. Insert the strapless slipper sole, then stitch the gap close, and proceed to make the other pair.
