When it comes to salad recipes, I only want the best, and this seafood salad by Mr. Make It Happen on YouTube is one of my all-time favorites! I always make sure to serve this every summer and whenever we have a family cookout. It never fails to amaze my family and they would always ask me to make it for them even on an ordinary day. You should try it out, too, and see for yourself!

Ingredients:

  • ½ pound medium shrimp
  • ½ pound lobster meat, or shrimp again
  • 1 pound crab meat
  • 1-2 stalks of celery, diced
  • ½ yellow onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 lemon, juice, and zest
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ pound elbow macaroni
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet relish
  • 2 pinches of sugar, to taste
  • Old Bay seasoning
  • All-purpose seasoning
  • Hot sauce
  • Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Step 1

Cut the shrimp and lobster meat, then add the shrimp to a large mixing bowl, and season it with old bay seasoning and all-purpose seasoning to taste. Toss them all together until fully coated and combined, then place a skillet pan on a stove over medium heat, and add the butter allowing it to melt before adding the seasoned shrimp.

Step 2

Give them a good toss. then squeeze some lemon, and continue to mix. Allow them to cook until nice and pink, then add the lobster meat, and cook them for a few more minutes before turning off the heat and removing the pan from the stove. In a separate bowl, add the mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, sweet relish, all-purpose seasoning, old bay seasoning, and white sugar, then whisk them all together until well combined and uniform, and then taste and adjust to preference.

Step 3

Squeeze some lemon over the mixture, then continue to whisk until combined, add the chopped veggies, and whisk them until incorporated. Now, add the macaroni, then give them a good toss, add the crab mat, and then toss them together to combine. Lastly, add the cooked shrimp and lobster, then fold them all together until combined, taste, and adjust the flavor if needed. Place it in the fridge to chill for at least 1 to 2 hours, then serve, and enjoy!
