I so love pot roasts because it’s perfect for any occasion and even on just a regular day, I also love the fact that it doesn’t require much effort because the prep time usually takes only a few minutes. Step 1
In a baking sheet, mix the all-purpose flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well-combined. Coat the meat well, then sear in a hot pan with cooking oil, cook, and sear both sides well.

Step 2
Remove the meat and sauté the onion until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute or so. Add the leftover flour dredge mix and make gravy, pour the beef broth while whisking gently. Add some soy sauce for some coloring, then salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Place the meat on the crockpot, then pour the gravy on top, add some thyme and rosemary. Put the chopped carrots, as well as the potatoes. Set it on low for 6 to 8 hours, then serve.
