How to Make Mason Jar Cookies

Mason Jar Cookie Recipe

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup pecans
  • 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/3 cups self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

To make the cookies, you will use the recipe above and you will layer the ingredients in order, starting with the rolled oats, ending with the baking soda. Once you have filled and sealed your jar, make a cute tag that says “Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies” and then make a label that has the following baking instructions on it. It really is that easy!

Write this on the label:

  • Preheat oven to 180C/350F
  • Grease cookie sheets.
  • In a medium bowl,
  • Mix 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Stir in the entire contents of the jar.
  • Form tablespoon size balls on cookie sheet
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until slightly brown on outside
