Macrame wall hangings are one of my favorite vintage items from the Seventies. Macrame looks so amazing in the home and has that miraculous ability to bring together mismatched furniture ideas and immediately brand it Bohemian. I was looking to accessorize my screened-in porch, and there was a lot of mismatched furniture in the space so I immediately decided it was time to introduce some macrame and tie the space together. I went searching on youtube for a macrame mandala project and I found this excellent video tutorial by Create With Jenn Via YouTube, that looked super easy, and really suited the decor idea I had in mind. This particular video tutorial is one of the easiest and the most simple to understand, that I have found on Youtube, and it looks fantastic. I immediately went to JoAnn’s Fabrics to get my supplies for this project. I also made sure to check my JoAnn’s app before I left to get my coupons in order before I got there because those coupons will save you a lot of money. If you are not taking advantage of the online coupons at all the big craft stores, you need to start, because more is more in the craft world, lol.
In this video tutorial by Create With Jenn Via YouTube, you will learn how t make this mandala wall hanging in a step by step, easy to understand method. You start by tying your first knots onto the hoop.
Then, you will continue those knots until the piece is full.
This is a beautiful project and I just love it!
