Vegetables are an essential source of a ton of nutrients that keep you healthy and ready to face the day. They help reduce blood cholesterol levels and keep you away from diseases. As kids, we get annoyed when our parents encourage us to eat our portion of veggies, but now, we have come to realize how important they are. We experiment by making them into beautiful salads, exquisite dishes, or pairing them up with some protein.
When we hoard, buy, or grow some veggies, we notice they turn brown or rot fast in our fridge. It is such a waste of good veggies. Here, JuicingGardener (Sheryl Mann) on YouTube shares with us the secret to making leafy greens last 5-10x longer and stay crisp when ready to use. A great, simple, and practical solution to a simple home problem.

Directions:
Soak and rinse your greens a couple of times until they are clean. Use some veggie wash for store-bought products or sprayed vegetables. Make sure to rinse and clean each leaf.
Place the greens in the salad spinner and spin until dry. If you don’t have a salad spinner, layer the greens in a single layer on paper towels. Blot until super dry.
In a Tupperware container, place a layer of paper towels on the bottom.
Place a thin layer of greens on top, followed by another layer of greens.Repeat until you have all the greens in the Tupperware. The last layer before the lid should have a layer of paper towel.
Keep the greens refrigerated.
When intended for use, make sure you have clean and dry hands when you get some greens from the container.
Your leafy greens will stay for more than a week if you follow this simple trick.
