It is almost Christmas time again and I have been searching online for new ideas to decorate my home for the up and coming holiday season. Recently, I found this awesome DIY flannel tree video tutorial by Down Redbud Drive, on YouTube, I knew this project would be perfect for my Christmas mantle decor. These cute little trees are really easy to make and all the materials are really affordable. If you purchase trees like these already made, you would be paying a lot more, and these trees are so professional looking that no one will even be able to believe that you made them yourself.
Materials For The DIY Flannel Trees:
- Flannel fabric strips
- Some stars (you can use metal ones from the craft store or make your own with cardboard and glitter)
- A cardboard or styrofoam cone (you can find these at the craft store or make your own)
- A hot glue gun
- Some glue sticks
- a pair of scissors
