Thanksgiving is almost here! Have you got everything prepared for your dinner table? You may already have the best turkey recipe but not the perfect partner for it yet, you’re lucky because we found the sauce to pair with your turkey, just follow this very simple and easy step and you’ll have this delicious cranberry sauce in no time. I highly recommend this recipe because it doesn’t require many spices at all, it tastes really good, it’s fresh and it also doesn’t cost that much. So why settle with the usually canned cranberry sauce when you can make one on your own and impress your family and friends. I assure you, your dinner table will turn extra special this thanksgiving! This recipe is brought to us by this amazing YouTuber Chef Amanda Freitag.
Step 1:
In a large cooking pot, put the fresh cranberries in, squeeze the oranges lightly onto the pot before adding it. Pour the water then add the candied ginger, maple syrup (you can use honey or just plain sugar), and sugar.
Step 2:
Wait for it to cook and for the cranberries to pop. If you want a smoother texture, you can wait to cook for a little bit longer. After letting it simmer for around 10-12 minutes or when you see the cranberries popped and the oranges cooked, you can turn off the heat of your stove.

Step 3:
Remove the oranges, transfer the cranberry sauce to a bowl and chill properly before putting it inside the fridge.
Bonus Step:
If you have a lot of cranberry sauce and don’t know what to do with it, you can blend it and make a cocktail out of it. Just mix with tequila and shake, then pour it over ice and use either orange or lemon for your citrus.
