This is definitely the best dessert for all the cookie and ice cream lovers out there. It’s fudgy, rich, and chocolatey. I never know why I have never tried this before. Good thing I saw this amazing recipe by DaveHax on Youtube. It’s so good – we are making them again this weekend.

In a mixing bowl, add the soft butter and brown sugar. Mix until light and fluffy.
Add 2 eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. Mix until well incorporated with the mixture.
Add the self-rising flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Fold the mixture until it becomes a firm dough.
Put the chocolate chips and use your hands to knead them into the dough.
Take a cupcake tray and turn it upside down. Grease it with butter. You are not going to use each of the cups as the mixture will spread as it bakes and you don’t want them to stick together.
Take a handful of cookie dough and mold it over the back of the tray. Make sure it’s covered all the way around. Do the same for the other molds you greased earlier.
Place it inside the preheated oven at 356 degrees Fahrenheit with the rack in the middle. Bake for about 12 minutes. Once done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Remove it from the tray and you have a cookie dough bowl. Place on a plate and serve it with a scoop of ice cream. Garnish with chocolate sauce on top if preferred.
