How to Make Coffee Candles

To make this project, you will need plain white candles or whatever you have. If you want it to look more like coffee, you can definitely use brown candles. You can also use your used candles. It is a great way to reuse them instead of throwing them in the trash. Making this coffee-scented candle is easier than you can imagine and you can finish it in just a couple of minutes.
Easy DIY Coffee Candle Materials
- new or old white candles
- water
- wick
- glass cup
- stick
- instant coffee
- jute ribbon
How to Make Coffee-Scented Candles
Step 1:
Start by placing the old or new white candles in a heat-safe container. Fill a pot with water and place over low heat. Put the heat-safe container with the candles inside the pot and melt the candles.
Step 2:
Place a stick on top of the glass cup, then the wick on the bottom of the glass. Wrap the excess wick onto the stick. This will hold it while the candle sets.
Step 3:
Pour 1/2-inch layer of wax to the glass cup and add 1 teaspoon of coffee. Repeat several times until you fill the whole cup. Make sure to top it with a wax layer. Set it aside and let it set.
Step 4:
Cover the glass with jute ribbon and you are done.
