I promise they are absolutely delicious! The recipe contains chocolate and peanut butter which is just the best combination in the world. It has a crunchy texture that you will definitely love. Ingredients:

  • 7 cups of rice or corn Chex
  • 1 1/2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 6 tablespoons of salted butter (cut into 6 pieces)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 to 4 cups of powdered sugar

Instructions:

Step 1:

Place seven cups of rice or corn Chex in a large bowl and set it aside.

Step 2:

Get a different medium microwave-safe bowl. Add 1 1/2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips, 3/4 cup of creamy peanut butter, and 6 tablespoons of butter. Place it in the microwave and heat for 30-second intervals. Make sure to stir well between each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture becomes smooth.

Step 3:

Once your mixture is smooth, add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix well until well incorporated.

Step 4:

Transfer the chocolate mixture over your cereal and stir it gently with a spatula. Make sure not to crush your cereal pieces. Mix until everything is coated with chocolate. You don’t want to see any of the plain cereal pieces peeking through.

Step 5:

Once all cereal is well-coated, add two to four powdered sugar to the bowl. Stir using a spatula until all cereal is coated with powdered sugar. You can add more sugar if needed. You can also fill a ziplock bag with powdered sugar and add the chocolate-coated cereal. Shake it well until everything is coated.
