How To Make A Zipper Basket Weave Quilted Pouch

I recently found this awesome small zipper pouch video tutorial, by M&M Hand Made House, on YouTube, and it looked perfect for gift ideas to give many of my family members. This project is super easy to make and has so many uses. The small zipper pouch is perfect for a wallet coin purse, or to carry makeup in. My very favorite part of this project is the lovely basketweave quilt pattern on the outside. I was thinking that that simple basket weave pattern would make a great quilting idea for almost anything, I really love that pattern, and I haven’t seen anything like it before.
Materials For the Zipper Basket Weave Quilted Pouch:
- A Jelly Roll Bundle (about 1/4)
- A small zipper
- Lining fabric
- Batting
- A pair of scissors
- a needle and thread
- A sewing machine (you can use or sew by hand)
- An iron
- An ironing board

Then, you will add your zipper, then your batting, and then your lining. It is really that easy!
