I found this wonderful recycled wooden bench video tutorial by Prof Rob Bob Via YouTube, and I had to call my friend to help me make it. My friend built an entire backyard office out of old fence wood, so when I saw this DIY rec Outdoor Bench I knew he would have all the materials handy for the project. He said get over here and we will make this because he was really wanting to add some seating in his garden this year, but he wanted to do something quickly because his nieces and nephews were coming over and he wanted to teach them about gardening. So he had plenty of leftover fence wood from his office project, I was in charge of the refreshments and craft stain we needed for the project. When I got over to my friend’s house he had all the tools laid out. The best part about using old wood is the fact that it is usually free, you can find it by asking your neighbors if they have any old wood laying around they are usually happy to accommodate.

• A carpenter’s pencil
• Sandpaper
• Safty gasses
