I have been researching DIY waterfalls and I have come up with some truly amazing ideas. There are so many cool ideas out there, the spark of human ingenuity is something that never ceases to amaze me. I recently found this awesome waterfall made from a styrofoam box insert by No. 1 Ideas, on YouTube, and I really loved the sheer genius of how this project was put together. This fountain waterfall is perfect for raising some beautiful goldfish, the result will be gorgeous when you get the entire project fully decorated.

Materials For The styrofoam Waterfall:

  • A large styrofoam insert (like the ones that come inside a TV box)
  • A pencil
  • A box cutter (or Exacto knife)
  • Quick-dry concrete
  • A small water pump (from Home Depot)
  • Grey spray paint
  • Craft paint (in white and black)

Directions:

You start by cutting out the basic shapes of the styrofoam, then attaching them together, and then covering the whole thing generously with cement.

Then you will continue fleshing the project out with concrete and paint until you get the look you want.
